We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support the safety, reliability and performance of production equipment within a manufacturing environment. You’ll focus on fault-finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement, working closely with Production and Engineering teams. This role will operate on a 6am – 2pm shift, Monday to Friday with possibility of a rotating shift pattern.
Key Duties
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults (motors, drives, conveyors, PLCs, inverters)
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and improve OEE
- Respond to breakdowns using structured fault-finding techniques
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety requirements
- Support equipment improvements, 5S and efficiency projects
- Assist with new equipment installation and contractor activities
About You
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification (or time-served)
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Desirable: PLC fault-finding, welding or machining experience
