Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Salary: up to £45,000 (DOE)

Location: Hawkhurst, Kent

Shift: Afternoons (1.30pm – 10.00pm) – Initial brief stint on Days to complete induction training

Key duties and responsibilities of the role include:

• Diagnosing engineering faults on factory machinery and carrying out any repairs required.
• Maintaining and cleaning factory machinery.
• Supporting the Maintenance Manager with the repair and upkeep of machinery, buildings, the grounds and other structures as required.
• Ensure the maintenance of both internal and external areas of the premises is kept to a high standard.
• Ensuring the maintenance workshop is kept a clean and safe environment.
• Record keeping
• Undertaking training when required in agreement with the Maintenance Manager.

Essential Skills / Experience:

• Relevant industry qualification
• 5 years relevant hands on experience (mech eng)
